This App has been designed and developed by a multidisciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, nurses and pharmacists of the University Hospital Álvaro Cunqueiro de Vigo.It presents in a summarized and practical way the most relevant aspects of drugs often used parenterally in cardiology: presentation, indications, posology, adverse effects, contraindications and other aspects of interest.It incorporates practical information of special utility for nursing staff involved in the care of patients with acute cardiovascular disease; from the way of conservation of the drugs, the way of preparing the dilutions as well as other relevant aspects regarding the form of administration.It has been tried to create a useful application for health professionals who provide assistance to patients with acute cardiovascular disease, which allows to consult quickly and practically the main parenteral drugs used in this context.Our intention is to improve the knowledge and facilitate a safe handling of the drugs used in our field, with contrasted information of the parenteral medicines most used in the daily clinical practice, offering a practical instrument that contributes to facilitate the handling of said drugs, minimizing the risks at the same time.
